The North Kenwood Multiple Resource DistrictThe North Kenwood Multiple Resource
District is a historic district within the Kenwood community. According to City of Chicago, the surviving elements of North Kenwood’s nineteenth-century development reveal a diverse and exceptional heritage comprised largely of masonry row houses dating from 1890-1905. The core of this district centers on the intersection of 45th and Berkeley and also includes approximately 100 surrounding structures. The North Kenwood Multiple Resource District was designated as a Chicago Landmark on June 9, 1993. |
